Test Signal Generators
ATX’s test signal generators are economical tools that assist installers and technicians to reliably test, troubleshoot, and/or set up RF levels in a CATV system.
The return path PLK is designed to set up and align sub low return paths. It can also be used as a cable identifier for verifying cable runs as well as the sub low return path from the subscriber’s premise to the headend. This pocket-sized unit is battery operated and has up to four RF carriers from 5-42 MHz (one unit has two carriers and one has four) that can be used in any combination.
The portable or rack mount TSGs are used to inject up to four clean CW carriers into any broadband network. This offers the ability to perform amplifier alignment and evaluate overall system performance. These units are available in either rack mount or portable battery operated styles.
