The UCrypt® QAM to analog product offering allows MSOs to decrypt select programs from their digital tier and re-transmit them in analog format. It is ideal for hospitality applications or for bulk MDU accounts not provisioned with digital television sets or where having to deploy set-tops or DTAs in every dwelling is not desired. UCrypt® has an easy to use management interface which allows users to select programs to be decrypted and/or passed to the output of the device as well as assign them to output channels at any frequency. The HTTP based management interface allows users to configure or monitor the product from a remote location. The unit is also powered by Ceton technology. UCrypt® is built on a scalable, field upgradable architecture that allows operators to grow their service offering on an as-required basis.
