Mini Indoor Deletion & Digital Insertion (DVISm)
The digital insertion solution is the latest addition to the MDU Solutions Audio/Video Deletion/Insertion product offering and is ideal for spectrum reclamation and/or MDUs provisioned with digital-only set-top boxes. It provides a means to cost-effectively insert locally generated MDU content (eg. security camera or localized advertising) as MPEG-2/QAM signal streams into the MDU network. This is a scalable wall mount solution for encoding up to 4 A/V programs and multiplexing them onto a QAM channel via its integrated agile QAM modulator/upconverter. An optional integrated QAM channel deletion filter allows for efficient and compact deletion/reinsertion functionality. Local/remote configuration access, as well as front access to all of the units’ features, allows for easy and comfortable product installation. The MDU hardened wall mount enclosure with lockable front door provides a rugged platform for harsh MDU environments.

Indoor Deletion & Digital Insertion (DVIS)
The digital insertion solution is another recent addition to the MDU Solutions Audio/Video Deletion/Insertion product offering and is ideal for spectrum reclamation and/or MDUs provisioned with digital-only set-top boxes. It provides a means to cost-effectively insert locally generated MDU content (eg. security camera or localized advertising) in digital format (QAM) signal streams into the MDU network. This is a scalable wall mount solution for encoding up to 10 A/V programs and multiplexing them onto a QAM channel via its integrated agile QAM modulator/upconverter.

Nano Digital Insertion (DVISn)
The Nano (DVISn) is the most cost-effective solution within the DVIS line of products for inserting locally generated content (e.g. security camera, localized advertising) to an MDU in digital format (MPEG-2 / QAM). It is ideal for applications requiring a low-cost, basic solution for insertion into a blank QAM or at the spectrum edge. This extremely compact & wall mountable form factor fits into virtually any space and includes fully integrated audio/video encoders, multiplexer & QAM modulator/RF upconverter. It's available in 1 or 2 channel configurations (1 or 2 baseband CVBS inputs) and features support MPEG-2 encoding. HTTP based GUI allows for easy set-up & control using a standard web browser.

Digital Video Return System (DVRT)
The Digital Video Receiver Terminal (DVRT) avoids the need to dedicate fiber & optical transmitters/receivers to backhaul PEG channels or other local content (surveillance cameras, CGs, etc.) by utilizing unused spectrum. It is ideal for inserting locally generated content (information channels, etc.) to communities serviced by multiple nodes such as gated, retirement & large resort communities. The DVISm unit is used for local baseband encoding into MPEG2 format and modulation into 16QAM-A format while the optional pluggable down-converter card (DV1DN) allows DVISm to output QAM in 5-65 MHz range. The DVRT features variable QAM-A bandwidth (3-8 MHz) for easy insertion into available return band spectrum. It's low order QAM mode provides for resilience in return band deployment, withstanding inherent noise & other impairments. It is used at the destination to demodulate & convert QAM stream to ASI, IP, SDI or baseband (CVBS) outputs to be fed back to desired nodes. The DVRT is also available with integrated up converter (DVRT-UP) for use in applications utilizing the DVISm down converter. It can accommodate return via direct insertion to return transmitter (in nodes & networks supporting this architecture) above return band frequencies to preserve all return band spectrum.

OVIS
Outdoor Deletion & Analog Insertion (OVIS)
This power passing filter housing is excellent for use in MDUs that require one or more channels to be deleted and reinserted for security camera monitoring or special channel reinsertion through the use of up to two channel deletion filters and two agile or fixed video modulators mounted in the housing. Video and audio connectors for the two channels are available on four “F” ports on the outside of the housing. The modulated video signals are combined and coupled internally with the remainder of the CATV spectrum. It is ideal for hotel applications where the select digital simulcast content needs to be supplied in analog format.

OVIS
Outdoor Deletion & Analog Insertion Set-Top Box Power (OVIS)
This power passing filter housing is excellent for use in MDUs that require one or more channels to be deleted and reinserted where the new programming is derived from tuned set-top boxes. This is achieved through the integration of up to two channel deletion filters, two agile or fixed video modulators, and a set-top box power supply mounted in the housing. Video and audio connectors for the two channels are available on four “F” ports on the outside of the housing. The modulated video signals are combined and coupled internally with the remainder of the CATV spectrum. Power for the set-top boxes is available at an “F” port on the housing.
